I am seeking freelance architectural drafting projects that I can preform in my home office.

In my previous positions and for other freelance clients, I have been responsible for AutoCad plans and shop drawings of commercial and residential buildings. I have also been responsible for initial designs, presentation graphics, as well as preparing take-offs, cut lists and cost estimates. In addition, I have completed the architectural design drafting certification course at Silicon Valley College.

As a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity over the last 12 years, I have gained a background in construction, from foundation work through finish carpentry, I have also completed several home remodeling projects for several acquaintances, and on my own home. I understand the need for thorough, clearly-drafted plans.

I have advanced computer skills using both Mac and PC software, and am experienced in AutoCad 2007 and VectorWorks. As a graphic designer for print and web, I have extensive experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Quark Xpress. This experience in graphics and marketing aids my 3D visualization and representational skills. I would also be valuable in preparing company graphics and architectural renderings.
